What better way to celebrate National Cat Day then with America's favorite feline in the latest Simon's Cat video. In "Fetch," Simon's cat suddenly receives the drooling and overeager attention of man's best friend. Can't a cat take a bath in private?
National Cat Day (October 29th) is an official day to recognize our feline friends. Founded by Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Advocate, Colleen Paige, it was created to bring attention to "all the cats who need to be rescued each year."
On the National Cat Day Facebook page, it states that one of its goals "is to encourage adoption rather than buying cats from pet stores supplied by kitten mills."
So remember, give your kitty some extra loving today (and maybe some extra nom-noms!)
And don't buy from pet stores, adopt!
