You knew her as Cindy Brady of the popular 70s show, The Brady Bunch. Now she is all grown up with a son of her own and she is giving back to the animals she loves--cats.
Susan Olsen, the actress who played the blond, pig-tailed Cindy supports Precious Paws, a non-profit Los Angeles rescue organization. As reported by the Today Show, she's out there on the streets rescuing cats and kittens and giving them a chance at a better life. She's also a foster mom, who takes in kittens and cares for them. Something you might not expect from a former child star.
Susan found that fostering kittens has helped her son, Michael, who has Asperger Syndrome. Caring for the kittens teaches him about empathy.
Watch Susan Olsen's interview with Today Show correspondent Jill Rappaport.
Susan raises money for Precious Paws by doing fundraisers for the organization. She will personalize and autograph a signed photographed for you, here, with a $25 donation.
